FTE Maximal launches the accessory KIC 5, a Kit which includes a 5 Vdc injector + Power Supply designed to feed the outdoor active antenna DIGIMAX when you don't have a DVB-T receiver which gives this voltage.
Receiving a DVB-T signal from an active antenna requires it to be fed with a power supply. It is not common that TV screens provide an output of 5V or even there are STB that cannot feed an active antenna. An antenna such as DIGIMAX provides an extra gain to the signal for those installations that are very simple: Antenna connected directly to the TV screen (or DVB-T STB).
In order to offer a good solution for those people who have problems when receiving DTT signal due to these cases, FTE Maximal offers the KIC 5, a kit compounded by a power supply (PS 5 500) and a current inyector (IC 5).
