New IP LAN TV Family

IP LAN TV is a new concept for delivering digital TV signal to the display. With this latest technology the display can be both a TV monitor or  a computer with specific software.

In Matelec'08 FTE Maximal exhibited this concept providing two kinds of equipment related to newest products. In one hand FTE Maximal has the Headends, which encapsule TV signal from DVB-T, DVB-S or DVB-C into IP packets. These packets are delivered via a Local Area Network (LAN) to the outlets where we will have a RJ-45 connector instead of the typical IEC or F connector. This range of Headends is completed with CI possibilities in order to be used with scrambled channels.

In the other hand, FTE Maximal has a new generation of digital IP receivers which can be pure IP receivers or Hybrid receivers in order to demodulate both IP and satellite or terrestrial signals.

In addition with IPLAN Soft, can send your video files into the IP network in order to be screened in real time or introduce DVB-T (or DVB-S) signal to the IP Network in order to be viewed via wireless on your laptop. There are numerous possibilities.

This is a solution both for big infrastructures and domestic networks and offers a differential point comparing to traditional coaxial cable networks. It gives the chance to take advantage of current LAN installation.

With this new generation headend equipment, FTE Maximal bets, once more, for the latest technology advances being able to provide high quality solutions for each need.
